Advocacy
The Adler Aphasia Center recognizes that there is limited awareness about aphasia.
We see that people with aphasia, family members/caregivers, healthcare professionals and the broader community benefit from our outreach efforts and aphasia education.
The Center runs educational programs throughout New Jersey and the region. Importantly, our members share their experiences and expertise in many of these education and outreach sessions with area healthcare professionals, medical and nursing students. This first-person involvement offers a unique perspective into living with this communication disorder.
To discuss these educational opportunities for your group or organization, contact our Education and Training Coordinator, Robin Straus at RStraus@AdlerAphasiaCenter.org or 201-368-8585
