The Adler Aphasia Center is shaping the
future of aphasia care for generations
to come. When you include the Adler
Aphasia Center in your planned giving,
you are supporting the vital work that
Adler is known for — ensuring affordable,
innovative, and safe care. No matter what.
Elaine and Mike Adler, our founders, were steadfast believers in speaking up for those who could not speak for themselves. They understood the power of community and supported what was important not only to them, but to others.
The Adler Aphasia Center has a vision to reach all those affected by aphasia by building awareness about aphasia and our services, working with members, caregivers, and volunteers to create a welcoming space for care, support, training, education, and understanding. Through innovation, we continually strive to meet the evolving needs of the aphasia community. We need your support to offer these vital programs and continue offering scholarships to the members who need them most. We invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference.
"For someone with aphasia, every word
can be a struggle. Your legacy gift doesn’t just fund a program—it gives a voice back to someone who desperately wants to be heard. It takes them from silence to conversation and from loneliness to connection. Your kindness
changes lives. That can be your legacy."
–Chuck Berkowitz, LCSW, Legacy Society Member and Founding Board Member
Letter from Board Chair and President & CEO
Dear Friend,
Every day we witness the power of community, connection, and understanding as our members rebuild their confidence and discover new ways to express themselves. We are excited to invite you to our Legacy Society. As Mike and Elaine’s daughter, Marie, shared,
“Elaine and Mike lived a life of service to others. Join us in honoring their memory by continuing the vital work they started, ensuring their legacy of love and generosity lives on in our community.”
Choosing to leave a planned gift is one of the most meaningful ways to support the Adler Aphasia Center’s mission. Your legacy will ensure that our work continues giving a voice, connection, and hope to those living with aphasia. We invite you to take the next step by becoming a member of our Legacy Society. Together, we can ensure this legacy of compassion and service continues for generations to come.
