Adler Aphasia Center’s
Stay Home, Stay Safe Fundraiser
In light of COVID-19 we ask that you please support our 17th Annual Fundraiser in lieu of our Annual Gala this year!
Despite the separation we have experienced in 2020, the Adler Aphasia Center continues to be a lifeline for people with aphasia. Within days of suspending in-person programming across the Center’s 13 locations statewide due to COVID-19, we began offering virtual groups weekly. Due to demand, additional groups were added to the weekly lineup – including a zoom exercise class, caregiver groups, art talk, conversation groups and more. Staff continue to make over 100 calls each week to members and their families to stay connected, brighten spirits and provide technology support.
Our members, caregivers and volunteers often tell us that the Center feels like one big family, and we are all missing our family right now. Until we can safely be together again, there’s no place like home. Please support the Adler Aphasia Center’s efforts to stay connected to people with aphasia throughout New Jersey by participating in our stay-at-home fundraiser.
